I hate my job

And I'm dreading going in tomorrow. I really need to find something new, but can't leave until I find something better. Anyone been in this position before, or have any advice on finding a job out there? I'm beyond entry level but not quite experienced... it's kind of tough to find something in the salary range I am looking for.

work your hours. make your own pay.

Is your desired salary range realistic for the level of experience that you have? Furthermore, does the market average align with your expectations?

focus on applying only at jobs you will feel comfortable with. maybe that was the cause of your problem. salary shouldn't be the main factor of your decision.

i was stuck in warehouse jobs until i applied (unknowingly) for a data entry guy at bestbuy warehouse.

I saw an opportunity and talked my way into tester. not a great job, but a stepping stone to what i eventually want to be.

right now i repair consoles.


moral of the story = you wont get the job your looking for with 1 move most of the time. you need to work your way up from job to job. Like a monkey swings from vine to vine.

i make $8/hr and i like my job.....


but i think it's because i work at a place that sells good food and just eat a lot....

i earn 600 bucks/month (roughly 3.5 bucks/hour) occupying a position of "legal advisor on foreign contracting" so STFU you bourgeois dicks

i'm quite novice though, only 1 year of legal practice (if it can be called so)

I�m in the same boat. I took a new promotion with the company I�ve been with for the past 5 years. I have to by company policy stay in the same position for 1 year before moving to another. It�s been 6 months; I can�t take much more of it. I�m talking to my manager today, she either gives me a waiver or I�ll go to another company.

dude how the fuck is that possible? i have no education and i make 17.50/hr. once i have a little more experience i can go and make more somewhere else.
