Anyone else having this problem?

Right now, about every 3rd or 4th time I click on a forum from my profile page or the main page (http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums) I get a download dialog (i.e. the "Open or Save to Disk" menu you'd get when downloading any file) - it's nothing major, and the forums still inevitably end up working, I've just never had this happen before - wondering if my computer is just being a twat or if it's just a TA hiccup.

Edit: Pic,

get a pc

The only reason I have to suspect it may have something to do with TA is because TA is the only vBulletin forum on which I have experienced this issue.

Ah, that could be it - my touchpad is pretty well shot, so it makes sense.

you may be holding down alt by accident, or have something triggering it, as alt-click in firefox saves stuff
definitely done that tons of times before

I've had that happen to me many times. I always figured it was memory issue.

Hang on, I thought Mac's just worked

I do that by accident when I try to click on a link and alt-tab out of firefox at the same time. Alt+ click saves the link

Posted by tubularbills on Dec-05-2007 22:16:

i got the same thing ... i have that same file saved on my f:\ drive. i think it had to do with something when firefox crashed, and i restarted it and it asked if i wanted to restore the windows i was browsing.

but i don't remmeber that download dialogue box popping up...but i've got the php file. lol

Hmmmm, that's got to mean my keyboard is shot then, because I'm definitely no where near the alt key.

Thanks for the heads up.
