Untitled Demo - Hard Trance 145BPM

First one on the page.

Haven't really tightened too much up as of yet but wouldn't mind opinions.

I do reuse my custom sounds if anyone decides to listen to the other 2.

Thanks for listening. Hope you enjoy it.

hard dance wouldnt be really one genre i have much knowledge on but ill give the best crit i can.

the start sounds like a commericial dance track then when it kicks in it sounds like psy trance and continues to sound like psy trance until the breakdown again which goes back to that commerical sound. good that you have incorporated a few styles into it.

i would start adding more layers to it maybe give it a fuller sound. think it lacks some nice pads flowing through it.

keep it up!

Thanks for the feedback. from what i can tell, most people don't listen to the harder stuff and from listening to uk hardcore/freeform for most of my electronic influences I guess my production style reflects those elements .

I'll see if i can come up with a nice pad sound; always had a little trouble building those.

I like that psyisch melody, gives an interesting atmosphere! A really cool track! Well done!

As in... don't get stuck in the mindset of making music just for the sake of other people's liking. That's what I used to do. If you keep at your own style for a good while then you'll come into your own. I basically stopped for a couple months then made some tracks for my own listening. Don't have a target audience. After some time people will gravitate to your style if they like it.

Nothing serious, really, just some food for thought.

I figured that's what you meant and I agree. Ever since I started doing my own thing and writing music I like I've noticed everything just seems to flow better on the creative side.

Like most people though, I still would like people to enjoy my tunes and get that rush from them that I get.

BTW I checked out that Celldweller remix. The glitch that starts around 3:55 is phenomenal. Awsome track.

Good! And those people will come naturally with time!
