i remember speed racer was very chill.... this guy looks like he needs to fucking chill.

brothers?
one of them is a tranny.

From what I read a while ago, they are using a new technique involving several cameras, each focused on a different depth during acting scenes. So when they are overlayed, everything is in focus, much like an animated cartoon where the background and foreground are in focus.

this reminds me of speed merc or wtvr that TA was back in the day.

Not surprising as the Wachowski brothers have a long history of making terrible, terrible movies.

In fact, "V for Vendetta" is the only one they've ever had anything to do with that's actually worth watching.

I didn't even like that - thought it had so much potential to be a really awesome, very deep, sci-fi/action movie, and it just turned out to be a trilogy of poorly written tech-demonstrations.

The racing scenes look so bad. So so bad. I remember seeing screenshots and I thought they were done that way for publicity shot reasons, I didn't think they ACTUALLY looked like that. Lame

Also that guy is a terrible Speed Racer! I liked him The Girl Next Door, but there's a guy at work that looks EXACTLY like Speed Racer. In fact I didn't even bother to learn his name, I just call him Speed.

anyways, kid movies can have a big mainstream impact. im sure most of us can name a pixar movie we have seen and enjoyed. also don't forget Robert Rodriguez directed spy kids and adventures of sharkboy and lavagirl before he did Sin City

and that makes me cringe everytime i think of it

i still prefer adult oriented movies like sin city, vs a "kids" movie like sharkboy or w/e

V for vendetta for me was something like this, chronologically:

k this is kinda cool.
ooh nice monologue, fuckin sick
more dopeness.
aw man, this is turnin out pretty sick
oh shit, he sent out the masks to everyone, thats ridiculous!
oh and the prison was in his place, oh shit!
oh fuck, this movie is fuckin sick!
BULLET TIME MOTHER******

seriously?
yeah fuck this movie.

it was all good until the climax, where it just completely lost me. i mean come the fuck on, bullet time on knives is entirely unnecessary.
still a good movie, but i'd put it on the same rank as the first matrix, if not a little lower

also, i saw matrix 1 and then didn't see the other two till like two years ago. second and third are fucking laughable, but the first one's still sweet.

Could that be because you're a grown man and not a fucking child? Although admittedly you would be hard pressed to believe otherwise after reading your posts.

Two different marketing targets. I fail to see a problem.
