amazing amazing amazing. up there with one of the best sets i have ever heard!!!!!!!!
i am honestly left speechless.
SOOO depressed I missed this

Good times!...... I was loving the trance room ...SKETCH! but over it was a good night, Heavy Grinder is smoking *drool*, Nathan Rocked the Gallery off the wallz BANANAS! happy bday to tommy!
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKING SICK night. Talla ripped the shit out of the guv. Such a great man aswell. He came down and partied with us after. Spent the rest of the night shooting the shit. I cant wait till he comes back.
Wow! That's basically all I can say, the crowd was sooo energetic and so into it, and his (Talla 2XLC) set was just amazing! Definitely top three party of the year.
Johan Gielen came on after but he couldn't pick up where Talla left off, Johan accidently knocked my camera down underneath the DJ Booth took them a lil while to get it back for me, one guy said I had to wait till close, and Johan said no, get it now for him, and every minute he would look at me to assure me that he's getting back for me lol. Pics will be uploaded in a bit. To be continued... Jeff and Negs you missed out!!!
Re: REVIEW: Talla 2XLC & Johan Gielen @ Guv
I had a fun time for most of the night. It was great to see so many people that I haven't hung out with since the summer. Thanks to everyone for being so friendly and welcoming
And for those of you who made a special effort to come out last night I truly appreciate it.
Talla started off his set with some amazing tunes! Deadmau5's Not Exactly (put me in a GREAT mood!), the Wippenberg Remix of Needs to Feel, the Wippenberg Remix of Should Have Known, and many others.
Nathan Barato did a great job inside the Gallery; it was my first time seeing him spin and chatting with him. Then, both Sydney and Deko-ze kicked the shit out of the Gallery! Both sets had a LOT of progression and were filled with banging beats. I heard some unreal bass-lines last night--very cool! It had been a long while since I had been in the Gallery and to see two of my favourite locals spin back-to-back was exactly what I wanted and that is indeed what I received. As soon as Deko-ze finished his set he turned to me and said that I need to check him out at the Comfort Zone: he warned me that if I come out for the first time to Cozo on NYD then I'll either absolutely love it or, alternatively, never want to go back again haha. Deko-ze has such a great personality and you can't help but love the guy
BTW, the sound in the Gallery was LLOOUUDD: my ears took a beating after being in that room for like 4 hrs straight.
I also spoke with Talla in the main room closer to the end of the night; he was very easy-going and a pleasure to chat with. We talked about trance in Germany as well as where he may be playing in the future.
All in all it was good fun.
Thanks to Derek for having us over before-hand; and thanks to everyone who was a part of my night
*heart Sydney

Ohhh, yeahhhh, it was an absolutelly amazing night of Trance. This was the first of I've seen Talla and Johan spin live and I was not dissapointed!!
That was the most fun I've had at the guv. in many, many years. Talla was simply incredible, and Johan was much better than I thought he would be. Overall, I give it a 10/10.
Deltawye
