I don't like Z103, hence I don't listen to the station, and when I do listen and they play some mainstream House song, I don't start foaming at the mouth in rage. They call themselves the fucking HIT CHANNEL. What else can you expect out of that station?

I remember when their sister station Foxy 88.5 was new. They had some really good club beats in the mid afternoon each day. I used to look forward to it whenever my job had me driving around at that time. They took it off the air pretty fast, though. I'm assuming it took many listeners away from 103.5 during that time slot. We need, although will never get, a station that's full on during the day. Something like 100.7 or 105.1 at late night. My buddies were in Montreal for a job and said they have two or three stations like that. Why can't we?

It being commercial radio, I tend to suck it up and shake my head when a bad song gets play on z103. Given that I've been listening to that station since I was 8, however, I won't rag on it too badly since it's the station that led me entering the EDM scene, and from time to time I catch a good song I actually like during one of their dance sets (you know, in between the 2 3rds hip-hop they play every day). The version of Dragonette - I Get Around being a recent song that comes to mind.

That all being said. The Danny D garbage they keep playing actually DOES get me fuming. He has no right getting air-time with his amateur, frooty-loops trash. But because he's 'their' DJ, they give him his rotation, and all the dirty little gino-kids love it because they hype Danny D like he's the best DJ to ever grace the airways.

... all things aside, genos make me want to ram my head into a brick wall.
