Raves

I've been to a lot of club/concert type events but never to a rave.

Are there any around this area that put out decent music?

If you want to go to a good rave....go outside of NY or US in general for that matter. International raves otherwise known as Massives are the best

Last good rave I went to was 3 years ago... I opened up the lineup at this huge warehouse in Long Island City, I'll never forget it, it was incredible, and PACKED... I vowed to keep doing the rave thing after that, but every one I went to or spun at just kept getting worse and worse, sadder and sadder... I don't see anymore big ones anymore

Been to warehouse "raves" in downtown Boston the past 2 friday nights. Great vibe and AWESOME techno and house at both parties Also went to an even larger one in a different part of Boston a few months ago around Halloween time.

music wise - may be
rave wise - what is called a 'rave' in NY Tri-State is a joke although given that a lot of old school DJs spin at these, you might get some good music DJ'ing.

go ravelinks - ny local ares for more info

If you guys want a good rave scene you should definitely come to california. Most of the good warehouse parties are in LA.

Yeah, we'll need some Aleve for the headache I'm gunna get from some of the rave DJs out there, especially the ones that still play that 2000 bouncey UK hard house

with the medicine he was talking about i don't think they would care about the type of music.

this is exactly why there are no raves anymore..
