Not yet, but someone should set him on fire for remixing Carte Blanche.

not really. his tracks seem to use all the same elements / synths, and they all sound like they're skipping. if i want to listen to skipping music, i'll put in "tranceport" (i've had it since it came out and overused it so it skips obviously). i don't want to listen to generic music from 2007 that sounds like it's skipping, but maybe that's just me.

There's not a  large enough.

there are a fair lot of people that dig that remix, you are not being reasonable here.

Not reasonable? And what is reasonable to you? Wrecking a classic tune?
Seriously... If you can't make a classic better than it is (which is most often the case), don't fucking remix it.

Better? What is better to you? It's just a matter of taste imo.

Marcus Schossow & Thomas Sagstad - Moog Me (FM223 Mix) is good.

Posted by petesake on Dec-13-2007 00:53:

I think he is on fire, alot of energy and yeah most of his track sound the same, but what I like is that he has his own style! he is bad ass!

I suppose shit is an acquired taste.

The only productions of his I've liked have been Chase My Rabbit and his remix of Umbrella (which even then, I didn't like Umbrella all too much to begin with, he only made it a tad bit more listenable).

Everything else of his has been pants.

bullshit imo

Posted by apple country on Dec-13-2007 21:45:

the Veracocha remix was insane.

I like 75% of his productions/remixes thus far. Sometimes, they're too glitchy for me.

Posted by tortoise on Dec-14-2007 01:21:

im really digging his style at the moment. my only BIG problem is that he took out the filter on MR White when it was released on coldharbor red. the demo mix is 5x greater than the release that is just boring.

currently loving

Paul Jackoson ft. Shena - Funkt (Marcus Schossow Remix)

Well, Ferry has been playing it... and he made the original. If he thinks it is good enough, that says enough in itself. It is hardly fair to say that a classic tune is ruined if it has support from the original composer now, is it?

And if we consider that it's difficult to get worse than SVD, I think it gives us a fairly good precedent for deducing here.

You know, I have to admit that I really do enjoy reading the snide quaintness in your remarks.
