Yes, you read it right - DJTracker.com and Substance are combining forces to bring you a chrissy beach party, completely FREE of charge!!

It's not quite Christmas, it's not quite NYE, what do you do? Take your friends to the beach and party with us! Substance and DJT styles (who could ask for more?!)
Join us in the sunny and lush surroundings of the Elwood beach reserve - famous for many other legendary parties, this location is the optimal place for providing massive beats, massive sun and MASSIVE FUN! So come down for an ultimately chilled day to help fill out that inbetween weekend. 
Catering to a plethora of different styles and genres, our 'hot to trot' DJs will be providing something for everyone!
Electro, house, prog, breaks, minimal, tech, trance, hiphop, pop, and everything else inbetween - your guaranteed to be aurally satisfied to the max!
Adding to the madness we'll also be announcing the winners of the DJT forum awards. So any of you whom havent voted, get on down and have your say!!

This party is gonna be wicked.I went to Substance v3 @ Soft Belly bar and it was awesome.All the Substance parties so far have been free entry and cheap drinks.For the beach party its byo.Since its in a publc area,we have to behave ourselves.Its gonna be 30 degrees on Sat,so bring ur sunscreen and bathers for a swim.What better way to spend the day,tunes,sunshine,bevvies and a splash in the ocean!

what an absolute joke, i traveled 30mins to get their and walked up and down the beach for 30mins looking for this so called beach dance party and there was nothing! i am extremely pissed off

The party was cancelled due to council fuck arounds.
Apologies to all for the huge fuck around with the beach party. Both DJT and Substance would like to extended their most humble apologies.
The shutdown was a total freak fuck up that no one could have possibly planned for. As the previous 10 or so other parties that have been thrown there have not had permits of any kind, we didnt see the need to apply for one. One of the other krews had actually been told by the St Kilda council that there is no permit needed in that area, so im not sure wtf happened. I think perhaps the laws had changed.
Regardless, we're really keen to do another later in the new year properly with permits etc.
Sorry again to any that made the treck down to find that we were not there. SMS's, facebook, myspace and the forums were hit up the minute we were shut down.
