Disneyworld EDM club

I heard this place is really neat. Forgot the name but the place has a revolving dance floor and kryo everynight supposedly. I will be heading to orlando from the 25-31 (not for NYE though) and was wondering if this club was worth checking out or if there are any events besides dirty south going on during that time.

Mannequins Dance Palace � It's a dance revolution at this pulsating, flashing nightclub that includes a huge dance floor which actually rotates

Pleasure Island is where all the clubs are but this is the specific club name

I read a review saying its like NYE everynight there with a countdown and what not and its all EDM all night

wait. didn't the floor of the country dance club used to rotate, too?

There's also a big club called Motion which is all the way in the back of PI. Maybe that's what you're thinking of. I think they play a bit of trance and some top 40. It's mostly remixed Top 40 with a 4X4 dance beat, though. See pic: link

yea Mannequins is a nice place..it was going off '00-04' but has kinda slowed down, as the trance scene has gotten weak...especially in O-Town. But they do play good tunes and yes its EDM.

ive been there wasted before. The moving dance floor is kind of tricky the more you drink.

thanks. Ill check it out. I mean im sure with the money disney has, the clubs they have over there are insane so an EDM one should be just as cool.

The only bad thing is that PI closes like at 1 or 2am.... but aside from that Mannequin is pretty good. Last time I was there was 2 years ago though... Also it's freaking hilarious watching drunk people get on the rotating dancefloor

i went to this place last year and i clearly remember it being extremely hard to step on the dancefloor when it was moving around after drinking an absurd amount... i also remember them having some cold air that blows out of the ceiling sometimes which was pretty good... but the music sucked

Its not a bad club, there are a few others in town that play EDM, but Mannaquins is mostly house and trance, its like 10 bucs for one club, or 21.95 for all six, its across from the irish bar called Ragland Road, thats the only free bar in PI, other then that, depending on what nite you go out, sky60 plays house most friday nites i do believe along thats on orando ave, with crooked bayou playing house on central downtown, and the House of blues has a SIN nite every sunday, and the last time i went they played alot of top 40 mash-up and EDM.

Correct. I used to go there a lot between 2000-2004. It always got busy between midnight to 2 AM, and the DJ was big on playing tracks like Lange's "You Put Me In Heaven With Your Touch", Taucher "Pictures of a Galery", Agneli & Nelson "Embrace", Delerium's "Silence (Airscape Remix)", and of course Darude's "Sandstorm".
They also used to play a lot of Trance inside the nearby Virgin Megastore.

As far as good parties at the end of December, Dirty South will be at Zinc Bar on the 28th. It's a small/medium sized club in downtown Orlando on Orange Ave. The previous night, on the 27th, Krafty Kuts will be playing at Voyage (formerly Blue Room), another downtown club. On the 29th, Steve Lawler is spinning up in Jacksonville.

House of Blues on Sundays. No trance but lotdsa chunky house.
