the soft goods department is AC/heat as well as the offices. everything else has fans. i've been working there for almost 2 years now. started unloading trucks and now, i sit in an office and stare at a computer screen all day while talking to truckers. you wouldn't believe some of the stories i've heard.

yea, i knew if i stuck with it, it would work out in the end and it did. i'm up to 2 weeks of vacation time and also up for a raise and bonus in march. hopefully gonna get a decent one. my last raise was shit because my manager was a jackass. the less he cost the company, the bigger the bonus, so he gave barely any raises. plus i applied for supervisor in that department and got turned down for no reason. i knew more about that department than anyone. i even had supervisors asking me how to do stuff. that's when i heard about an opening in transportation. beat out 5 supervisors and 3 other employees for the job.
