Let me just ask two questions.

How many Yankees were on the list?

And how many Minnesota Twins?

That's what I thought.

Yeah, he was only there for two seasons and we cut him though. Twins didn't have any members of their active roster named, though half of the Yankees starting rotation and two of their best hitters were.

my friend made the best comment about this list.

"jim parque, that might be the highlight of his career."

so they pump themselves up and its still the sport with the slowest players, the fattest players and the most boring players.

i guess with out steroids it would just be too painful to watch.

so thank steroids.

Bowlers?

Plus baseball is about strategy, most 'normal' people can't really figure it out.

i think a lot of the strategy in baseball has gone away since homeruns are so common. i'd love to see them bring back the deadball era and make the game more about manufacturing runs.

that's why I prefer the National League and choosed the Mets as my favourite team.

This fucking list is just a witch hunt based on hearsay and circumstantial evidence. Why can't Selig and his the fucking MLB just accept that steroids were a problem but now they test against it. If you get caught, you're punished severely.

Dragging it on like this and singling out certain players (while some have SURELY escaped blame here) is just stupid.

This is a fucking farce.

I say kick them out that fail piss tests, there are so many people in line that would kill for there position in Baseball. Make examples and see how fast it drops off...

Agreed... I just can't get over the fact that they put Mo on this list... the HITDOG... I mean the guy had a horrible ending to his career anyway, why take another shot at the guy... bad form by George Mitchell.... therefore bad form on John Henry and Co.... no respect for the OLD Red Sox.... fuckin assholes....

I still love you Mo, and I always will!

not at all

I've never blamed anyone for taking Roids... and never will... because I know if I was in the Majors... or if I had a chance to make the show... I'd take them.... cause I'd do what I have to... DEDICATION!!!

I HATE Barry Bonds... with a passion... but I'll never hate him for juicing... he did what he had to, to play till he was and OLD man... it is what it is... i don't care....

not everyone is athletically gifted like A-Rod or Pujols...

I hope you didn't leave Bonds out of that on purpose. Because Bonds was a better player than both of them before he started juicing.

Nope, not really... hey... in 1995, I said myself... Barry Bonds was the best all-around Left Fielder... EVER... and my friends thought I was on crack... so no Barry hatin here...

but I'd take A-Rod and Pujols at their Prime over Barry at his Prime everyday of the week.... not Left-Fielders though of course...

Really? I can see A-Rod because he played SS and was a great offensive player for a SS. Pujols though? He's a 1st baseman. And it's not like he's Keith Hernandez defensively. He's not even SOOOOO much better than any other 1st baseman. He doesn't steal bases. I think Bonds was much more valuable...

where is sammy sosa's name?

Posted by XaNaX on Dec-27-2007 13:08:

These guys have made a complete joke out of baseball. I'm so glad I just gave up on that sport 20 years ago and haven't wasted any of my time with it since. These guys cheat and basically nothing happens to them yet Pete Rose gets banned for life for betting on his own team to win. Makes sense to me.

Pujols is just everything that is good about baseball... came out of NO WHERE, just a prospect, 21 year old kid, Cards needed an OF, then he hits like he's been in the show for 10 years....

and because I like to see interesting things... baseball reference as always.... Pujols is most similar to Joe Dimaggio, and Jimmie Foxx through his current age of 28.... Bonds most similar pre 30 years of age.... is Tom Brunansky, Jack Clark, Duke Snider, etc....

NOW, as much as I loved Tom Brunansky.... I'm taking PUjols here... yes, Pujols isn't done yet... but his worst season ever was in 07.... 32 HR's, 103 RBI, and a .327 AVG.... ummmm.... thats insane.... players would kill for that in their OFF year....

Bonds just threw it all away.... until MLB can find out where these DOminican's are getting their JUICE, which ain't happenin, Big Papi is smart, he gets his shit so no one finds out about it.... then its Pujols for me!
