Holiday Wish List...Cool toys I wish they had when I was a kid.

It's that time of year again...it seems to me that kids these days have some pretty cool toys at thier disposal. This thread is for all the toys you wish were available when you believed in Santa.

Have you seen lego these days? It sucks. Its been taken over by sponsorship and commercialization. I want bricks and blocks, and maybe a window here and there. Not some custom moulded darth maul and shit like that. when I was a kid if I wanted a lego pineapple, I had to get all the brown and yellow and green together and build it myself. Now kids probably ust go and buy the Dole-sponsored fruit cup lego set.

agreed.

I grew up on classic lego.

Took great pleasure in completing the big ass castle with knights and shit.

Now, the challenge isn't so there.

Making up your own stuff, like a spaceship and whatnot is so fun.

i agree with the sponsorship and stuff but having a ferrari lego is really damn cool. i picked this one up from toys'r'us a few weeks ago for $60+tax and i love it. im planning on buying another ferrari lego soon.

my next purchase will be either one of these... still undecided...

LOL i think i know what that feels like, i was walking on Yonge Street couple of days ago and a girl was handing out flyers promoting new store that carries dolls including Barbies, I did not have time to go in but will next time when im around
when i was growing up it was impossible to find them in the stores where i lived so my relatives that lived aboard would usually get them for me

^5 to anyone who remembers that original Lego was the best toy because it did not require instructions; just imagination, and some patience.

Is that a 430? I'd go with the F1 if it were me. Don't consider this an endorsement, tho; I still think new lego is a crock.

Personally, I'm just gonna forget about the lego and buy a real Murcielago. :P
