Wasn't as "haha" funny as I was hoping. Kinda sad.

7-11 Commercial

The best thing in this situation would be punching and knocking him out.

Posted by RandomGirl on Dec-15-2007 00:56:

He's obviously having either a panic attack, or isn't completely balanced. The poor guy is terrified.

If you look at his arm, there is a white band on it, which gives me the impression that he was "checked in" somewhere... like a psyche ward.

That is just sad.

I feel really bad for this guy.

Not worth it to the airlines. I don't know what the fine is with regards to that, but if a plane is diverted because of bad weather they are fined 100,000. An international diversion is a 1,000,000 dollar fine. That is, of course, 2002 dollars when I was researching with/for United Airlines.

Not really. Why pay firms big money to forecast things. If it is going to be bad, dont send the plane. Think about it. You airport is set to work with what it has and all of a sudden a new plane comes in. It requires fuel, a gate, personnel to deal with it.

They put those fines in so the airlines are less likely to send planes out when it looks like there could be an issue.

ok well yeah, that makes sense but it seems like a bit monopoly..
but i can totally see how they'd think twice before they actually made the decision to land somewhere un-scheduled.

I got to give credit to the air marshals who kept cool the entire time, trying to console him. They weren't abusive, they peacefully asked him to keep calm and never blew fuses.

Bravo. It's men like these I want on each flight I ever go on.

What seems like 'a bit' monopoly? Do you actually know what the word monopoly means?

Posted by nchs09 on Dec-15-2007 06:16:

the only way to calm him down is if everyone on the place acts crazier than he is acting...

everyone strips, poop everywhere... pee on the windows, anally rape everyone, circle jerks, naked cartwheels....

only then would the man calm down.

Posted by Turbonium on Dec-15-2007 06:29:

Um, they could actually use this as a distraction while actual terrorists on the plane pull off some evil shit. I hope the air marshals are prepared for such things.
