One+One Essential Mix

there's a thread for it in the tracklist forum, but i think it warrants its own thread here. i can't stop listening to it. probably one of my favorite Essential Mixes i've heard in a while. i couldn't get into their One+One compilation that they released earlier this year, but this totally makes up for it.

find it at the usual places..so lazy people, these days, want everything handed to em.. beatport style.

highlights for me, was the forthcoming material from stryke, soon to see released on plastic city records

yeah man it's great, been listening to it on the road for the past few days. love it more and more with each listen. you should also check out the claude von stroke EM from a few weeks earlier

One of best essentials this year. There are plenty of tracks, that I can't wait to see them released. Lots of acid, a bit boring in the beginning, but later it is absolutely crazy. Liked a lot samples from "Sunshine" movie. Fantastic movie soundtrack.

we all know you hate beatport, and we really don't care.

For those of us who don't have realplayer and thus can't stream at Radio 1, thank you.

lol, this is in comparison to The Beatles playing alongside the 60+ year old gimps that play in my local pub every Sunday night. What a fucking JOKE. If I was James I couldn't be more offended if someone came and shat all over my doorstep.

Heh, thats the difference...James prolly wouldnt give a fuck

Posted by DJ Mikey Mike on Dec-15-2007 15:03:

That's because James is a really nice person and I'm not. I don't see the relevance though.

One+One

JZ should bring Nic with him to Toronto. That'd be KILLA.

EDIT: woo atari-like game noises

Posted by MindShifter on Dec-15-2007 17:00:

hmmm i couldn't get into this at all pretty poor showing from the boys imo

I don't see the download link in there - was really hoping to listen to this while I studied this morning.

Posted by lcid on Dec-15-2007 18:10:

Awesome mix.

Posted by RJT on Dec-15-2007 18:47:

Thanks for the new link Myra - I'm about 30 minutes in and lovin' it right now

Edit: Fuck. This might already be the best set I've heard this year - I can't believe how sick this is - acid noises and everything! w00t!

uhh im pretty sure that they are friends...
and im pretty sure that they both mutual respect each other regardless of experience in the industry, etc...
why?
im almost positive that deadmau5 manages james zabiela bookings in the north america region...

dj mikey mike, i doubt youd be offended if you were james zabiela

I just finished this - and it was without doubt one of the finest sets I've heard, regardless of year, DJ, context, etc.

The end of the set is absolutely gorgeous - this one will definitely be staying around for the long haul.

Posted by stren on Dec-15-2007 21:02:

I'm downldn . I just listened to Bas and Clovis, so its gonna be hard for Nick and James to top them
