Looking for trance/house parties in Sydney + area...visiting from Toronto

I just arrived in Sydney and am looking for info on any trance/house parties to go tonight - saturday - and any day really, for the period from now until after New Years ... Are there any big names coming here for NY? What's the nbest spot to be at if I am looking for a wicked party on the beach with amazing music/ DJ's???

I would totally appreciate any feedback/ ideas/ info...

PS: Are there any places that play Trance/ House/ Techno on the beach during the day?

You've hit the jackpot for NYE cos it seems every big name in Australia will be in Syydney this year.

Sister Bliss
Joachim Garraud
Giuseppe Ottavani
Cosmic Gate

are all playing NYE in Sydney for sure. In fact I think Cosmic Gate and Ottavani are both playing at the same party at Space, and Joachim and Sister Bliss are both playing at a different party.

Considering David Guetta, Felix da Housecat, Groove Armada, Angello & Ingrosso, Claude von Stroke, Benny Benassi and a few other will also be in Aus I'd say probably a few of them will also be playing in Sydney on NYE.

I'm so going to the wrong city for NYE this year

tonight martijn ten velden is playing at chinese laundry

tomorrow during the day there is the rooftop party @ the eastern in bondi, there is also dj falcon & one of the TA's playing at cabana bar in st leonard's

next week there will be a whole bunch of daft punk after parties

i think on boxing day there are day parties at bondi beach...

Thanks to all of you for the tips...Will definitely help me out...I think the big NYE party is sold out now...the one with Guetta...too bad, would have loved to be there...Would love to meet some of you there..
