Guverment booking agents?

I know that there's a person that frequents the forums that is responsible for booking at guv but for the life of me I cannot remember his name. Could someone please email me the contact details of this person (if possible)?

I feel a bit embarrassed having to post this here so here it goes!

You are right but its much quicker to get in touch with the person directly, its like sending a demo to a label through their website vs giving it to the A&R directly!

Thanks! I'm asking for the info not for myself though, just an upcoming talent from Europe that will be doing some gigs in Canada, so I figured maybe I can try arrange a gig in Toronto.

Guv website has the Talent Buyer's name(s), email address, phone number and extension. What more would you want, home phone numbers? lol

they might not have an account but they know exactly whats going on in all the forums. they are on top of everything.

I emailed these 2 directly months ago about getting Sasha and Digweed. The Tribe Hyperclub people were successful in getting them for the Pepsi Forum this month so I wanted the same for T.O. Also pestered the CIRCA booking team about it as well. S&D are long overdue in Toronto. They haven't played here since 2002.

i would slit my wrists if i kept getting emails from random people saying "you should book this person because this other club has them". dont you think they already know? they are way ahead of you when it comes down to who is playing where.

im pretty sure they know who the "hot" and "upcoming" djs/producers are without needing to be told. its what they get paid to do.

It's not easy to book either one of them on their own, let alone together and get them to agree to it.

They're not a DJ duo and stopped playing together on a regular basis years ago.

I wasn't expecting to contact them via tranceaddict by any means and as someone mentioned, an email coming from a relative stranger wouldn't go very far!

I don't quite understand where this attitude is coming from, you don't have to be so uptight with the information.
