21p- Deep funk set for your drive to work [deep/tech house]

Hope y'all enjoy this one. I've edited the hell out of it for your listening pleasure! We don't get any house music love up here in Knoxville, TN--- it's an all breaks/electro scene. This mix starts out nice and chill and progresses from there, but never goes over the top!

Wink

No reviews? Hurts my feelings, I worked extra hard on this one....
Oh well, back to the drawing board!

I wouldn't stress over it too much, mate. You'll find that you'll get more reviews as you go along. I've found that the more sets you review, the more reviews you get in kind. I'll try to give this set a go at work today and let you know what I think, but keep in mind I'm more of a progressive fan.

I'm about an hour from Chattanooga, so in the grand scheme of things, I'm not far from you.

Affirmative! Where can I find some of your sets? I'm happy to play by the rule of thumb.

I bedroom mix only, and I don't have a PC anywhere near my gear. As such, I don't record my mixes. I just have a beer and drop some vinyl a few nights each week.

However, you'll find plenty of house fans here, so drop in and give their mixes a listen. RJT, Allied Nations, Bas & Clovis, and Lucid come to mind right away when it comes to house mixes here in the DJ Promo forums. Of course many other offer house mixes as well, those just come to mind immediately for me. And, again, just keep posting up your mixes. The more you put up, the more likely you're to get a listen and review. I'm getting your set now. I'll try to give it a listen this afternoon at work.

Finishing this up now, and I can't say that I have any complaints. Your mixing is just fine, so no worries there. But, since I'm not a house fan, I just can't offer much beyond that, unfortunately. The bulk of the tracks just don't grab my attention. I'm a melodic/progressive whore at heart! Perhaps if I listened to house regularly, I could offer you some insight into your programming. I feel like I'm not helping here.

Thanks to everyone who has supported this mix, it has already been downloaded 9x more than any I've previously recorded. Someone was kind enough to pass it on to Evolution FM in Phoenix. Thanks to whoever you are!

Merry Christmas !!
