he's more talented than "dj kraddy", but I found it jerky and a bit nauseating.

do you listen to hip hop normally?

Posted by jon jon on Dec-17-2007 22:08:

pharrell 2 years ago ftw lol

Posted by Xavier Moriarty on Dec-17-2007 22:22:

i do. not like i used to but the love is still there.

nice find hehe

Posted by jon jon on Dec-17-2007 22:22:

or how about beats that sound like slow downed D&B haha so fucking dope

Posted by Xavier Moriarty on Dec-17-2007 22:32:

LOL. i cannot believe this. i was gonna write how cash money millionares feat birdman - birdcall, ruined hip hop for me and you come up with this hahahaha. that is weird.

nah, not big fan of crunk. when it comes to hip hop i like them old school beats

Posted by jon jon on Dec-17-2007 22:44:

It's kind of ridiculous to compare them imo, very different era's of music.

For example the style of that Birdman track vs. 1990's LL COOL J is like crazy different. (forget the 10+ evolutions in between)

I don't really understand how one style of music can cancel out the other? lol Can't you like both?

it might resemble DnB, but that shit is to Hip-Hop as what Vagino's & Euro are to EDM. super cheese.

here's where it's at

Talib Kweli live at the Guvernment June 23rd 2003 was one of the best shows I've ever been to!!

EDIT: RAWKUS RECORDS FTW!

sounds okay...I don't think I could party to it or anything. but it's definatly "music while cleaning my room" worthy

The air raid mix was pretty good, but not as good as you made it out to be - not a fan of the mixing, and only some songs had a dope beat, the others were mehh.

And I liked "Mos Beautiful" from Kraddy. You can probably guess why.

Lol, doesn't even come close to even slowed down D&B. D&B is not fast, it just has a lot of snares/cymbals going on at once. This doesn't. Dubstep is what happens when you slow down D&B.:

That bass just muurks the speakers. Some more cause now I'm in the mood to spread the good word of well-timed, heavy beats:

Pure bouncin' music. This shit on weed makes my head roll.

Aesop Rock is one of the best out there for beats for me
It has all sort of wicked elements to it...

Obviously, he is a bit of an acquired taste... hard to understand at times, a great writer tho

+ the man worked with Evil Nine... shiiit

and ofcourse
