WTF is goin on w/ Avalon

The owners are in court trying to regain possession of the venue from the group that they did an illegal management deal with. They had to actually turn themselves in for illegally doing a licenseing deal without notifying the State Liquor Authority in order to try and regain possession. Last week at court the judge ruled to close the venue until it can be resolved. The SLA has a big problem with the fact the venue has had so many problems and now this. Nobody knows when it will open, That is the fact. i heard they may have a hearing next week, but that doesnt matter because the SLA may not be in session until January and they could care less about making a ruling sooner just because it is NYE. I want a refund. if it does open i will get a ticket at the door.

Yea man, I heard sooo much shit...so many different stories as to whats going on with Avalon. I personally have no fucking clue what is going on. I want to order my ticket for DT today but who knows. I 'heard' the club closed down to renovate the inside but I dunno...Could be a cover-up.

history thought me my lesson on way too many occasions with raves and parties getting busted, canceled or moved to different vanue where your tickets meant nothing. (its worth spending few more buck vs loosing your money. when i go i pay at the door or use a guestlist)

That clearly = renovation for New Year's Eve... Jeez, why can't anyone with half a brain ever get their hands on Avalon.. Think about if Made Event took control of that place... It's small enough for some of their Cielo lineups to bring a crowd and fill the floor, and big enough for the Markus, Rank1, Sander, etc., parties... I've always shared my disdain for Made in the past, but if there were anyone that could do wonders to that place and do it right, it would be them... I don't know why a certain preset type of shady person is always the one to be part of management there, it's mind-boggling.

The layout is horrible. The height of the club is larger than both the length and the width. I guess thats cause it was meant to be a .... CHURCH, not a freakin dance club. LOL.

I was answering in general but would you think its possible DT wont have that much problems finding a venue to spin on NYE or any other date if he wishes to spin in NYC? (or should I name you a few venues of the top of my head where DT can take his party)

i really wanna see danny cause he was unreal on halloween but
that place to me is horrible
so many diff promoters came in and out of that place along with djs
and it always gets shut down,fails,poor turnouts

Well Bradley Rose never responded to my PM or e-mail so that leads me to believe that shit aint happening. I just checked up on ClubPlanet and the last post for DT says that 'its on'
