north american clothes sizes?
I'm trying to work out stuff for my sis-in-law who wants to get me my xmas present of a t-shirt. i know what i want but i dunno what sizes are in north american countries, so if i ask here can u tell me the following in inches please
L
XL
XXL
gracias
Depends on the brand of shirt.
it's hockey-wear so it'll be Reebok
Welcome to north america, where the size displayed is no indication of how big a shirt actually is.
it all depends if its a t shrit, practice jersey, non game jersey, game jersey (with the fighting straps.), goalie jersey. I'm guessing its the non game edition jerseys, in which a larger size is good. What size normal shirt are you...(uk and canadian sizes are pretty much the same)
thanks but that lists uk & us as identical, yet in my current t-shirt for example, it says "UK XXL, US XL" so i dunno
sizings here have changed which is weird, XXL used to be 50-52" but is now 46-48 in some or 48-50" in others. it's hard to know who to believe

im looking at this
it's pretty much every-day wear, we have a lack of good long-sleeved t-shirts here but they're my winter saviour

Originally posted by callme well if its an official game jersey its alot bigger due to the equipment being put on under it. But i'm not sure you are going to go that route since they are about 5 times the cost of "fan" jerseys. I only buy goalie jerseys and haven't played up front in years so i forget what the sizes are like. |
ian, hope this other sizing chart helps
