Radio Slave - Tantakatan [rekids]

Apparently due out in 08 on Matt's label. Sample up on his myspace.

Fucking simple. Fucking long. Fucking good.

All imo of course.

He played this at afters a few weeks ago and it just sounded so good at 9 o'clock sunday morning...

yup, its going to be out in 08. The promo cut making the rounds is not the finished product. Rekids really does a great job at putting out repetitive tech elements that cross over and have appeal to the house market.

yes and no, i can see the comparisson but i find Dubois to be a little more gritty and funky. They both are pwnage.

I'm saying sounds used...this reminds me a lot of Dirt Crew - We Are (F Dubois)

either way this track makes me want to slap some cock on some face repeatedly for 15 minutes on loop and that is really what counts.

Posted by nefardec on Dec-19-2007 19:13:

love it

I really love most RS productions...but this track sounds like the same 4 beats over and over again played on come drum kit.....

Posted by idoru on Dec-19-2007 21:32:

Solid. One of those tracks that really make me sad that my third CDJ isn't functioning properly.

I was actually going to quote nsamadi and agree, but you definitely just put things into perspective for me. Therefor I have no other choice but to agree with the both of you!

They're a better 4 beats than I've heard from most guys in the last few months.

Yeah. With the right layering and not playing this track in its entirety on its own, it can certain be a solid addition to any set.

I think even just playing it on its own next to the right records can make it sound great.

Sounds like another is bomb on the way. I could listen to that loop forever.

Posted by mphreak on Dec-20-2007 22:49:

Don't find this track as "standalone" bomber , but definitely will work excellent with the perfect environment.

I've had this on my myspace for a month now and it still doesn't get old. Can't wait for this ****** to get released!

Posted by nsamadi on Jan-12-2008 22:26:

I like that "What Happened" track a lot more on his myspace player...
