Best Essential Mix of 2007?

Favorite EM of 2007? Have read good reviews of One+One, Justice, Lindstrom&Prins Thomas, Howells, etc.

Howells for it's over all flow...

Digweed's come close, love that vortex .

+1 on Howells.

I think we had this thread already but Howells, Digweed, and Prydz were my favorites

Danny's opening three tracks owned anything I heard from anyone else.

The Shinkansen + Accapella work was just gorgeous.

Howells all the way. One+One comes close... but i think Howells beats it for me simply because of the mix into Cosmonite.

You can't go wrong with either Howells or One + One.

For me to try and pick which one I like more would be a pretty futile effort. Both A+'s.

I didn't listen to that many, but out of the ones i did I really enjoyed Claude VonStroke's.

And 2 James Brown tracks just a few months after his death...fucking class.

They always give him a live festival set. Cool, but I wish he could get a proper planned mix...

That really doesn't bother me much. I just wish that the set was recorded with better quality. Don't get me wrong, it is cool to hear how the crowd reacts to the bombs that he drops but I don't think asking for 2 versions of the same set is too much to ask for!

I didn't realize that till now. I guarantee a proper studio mix from him would demolish everyone else's. Ah well.

His liveset demolishes everyone else's studio mix.

There is no competition. Howells will win it this year.

1. Simon Foy and Marco V

2. Mark Ronson

3. DJ Pierre

They've pretty much all been very average and unremarkable tlwise. Two honorable exceptions to Mr. Scruff and Harri & Dominic, the former in particular rocked.

howells was the best, but I also liked Lindstrom and Prins Thomas, yet to listen to the umek one which might be up there too
