hi there,
i just got an edirol pcr 300 for use as an external control for live 6, i have been able to get the keys working fine, but i am yet to get the rotary and sliders to work as the manual is useless, but apart from that in live when you click the midi button at the top right of the main screen, the parameters that are able to be automated show up blue, but i notice that nothing lights up on the vsts that i use. can a midi keyboard control parameters within a vst or only the live parameters?
i assumed you could but im not sure, and if anyone can tell me an easy way to set up the rotarys and sliders to recognise them that would be great to! thanks

u have to open Live's native vst editor. an arrow above X/Y controller.

i have looked all over for the arrow but i cant see it, and the x/y controller, where is that?
