Dresden

Helo everyone,
I would like to visit Dresden 27.12. Could you recomend me some nice places in this town in a center? (shopping center, nice buildings, whatever)
Are the shops open like the normal day?

Even though I`m not living in Dresden, I can tell you that the shops should all be open (except maybe for small, independently owned shops where the owner decides to take a holiday leave).

You should definitely try to see the following sites:

- Semperoper
- Schauspielhaus
- Zwinger
- Italian Village
- Hauptwache
- Theaterplatz
- Kasematten
- Residenzschloss
- Hofkirche and Frauenkirche

Dresden is a world cultural heritage acknowledged by UNESCO. The skyline and the old part of town is amazing and has a lot of history, even though most of it is rebuild, because Dresden was almost completely destroyed in WW2.
