anybody in here into cage fighting and
training jiu-jitsu and mixed martial arts???
i have an invite for a private tracker for
trading mma/jiu-jitsu/cagefighting videos...
and i am looking for an invite to trancetracker.com
anybody want to swap??

I love mma, but since they get punched in the face for my entertainment i prefer to pay them for it. This is also my policy with midgets.
Good day to you sir.

trancetracker.com

Muay Thai kickboxing only. I might give Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu a try if I get bored or want to do straight-up MMA, but I have enough fun working out/sparring with Muay Thai.

I've been training in MMA for months now. My BJJ is so so, but standup and GnP are not too shabby. If everything goes well and I keep training, I may get a fight as early as next summer. MMA is my favorite sport, period.

I train out of team ROc in NC now, I've taken some bad fights against guys I had no buisness fighting, like Melvin guilliard rory singer and marcus davis. but It's great fun for me and kind of addicting.
yikes.
well, just look at the sherdog link above. that guy, Dan Bobish, has a nice record, and some losses. but when you see who the losses are to... Igor Vovchanchyn, Aleksander Emelianenko... i mean, shit.

he looks on the overly heavy side. i mean, hell at 6'1" and 330lbs, it's no wonder he gasses out. as has been proven again and again, MMA is not just about being big and heavy, and if he can't endure and go the distance, his weight will become a disadvantage, weighing down on him, making it harder to keep going.
and fuck, slacking when you're gonna fight Aleksander?! that's a huge shot for a relatively unknown fighter.
edit: what's his style? more of a striker or grappler?
yeah there professional fights, and yeah they kicked my ass. , Melvin knocked me out in under a minute with a flying knee. and a bunch of elbows and punches from the mount. lol.... took the fight on 12 hours notice and drove to atlanta to fight. not the best idea. but in my defense i really wasn't training with a good school during any of those fights and I am in the military and always gone over seas.
