In case you havent noticed we're pretty much "mod-less"
we have steve-neil to police these forums-he offends everyone and if u r thick skinned enough to put up with it we allow u to stay, so we are like the lost forum in TA community-no one cares about us and we dont care about anyone else, sometimes we have 40 threads on the same topic( im as guilty as the next guy on this one), after the 41st thread someone will get pissed and threaten the other person, thats about as close as we get to a mod around here, so good luck in your endeavor, unless your paying for some advertising swamper will not respond to you, unless you proclaim to be Canadian-and no one in their right mind would make up a lie like that

There was a time when DC/VA/MD TA's almost match to numbers of NYTA's. There was more of us and the MOD on here actually stayed up DC. I remember it almost happened but it never happened slowly theres number of member declined and then the MOD disappeared. Nowadays it only like 5-6 of us which fuckin sad. Who knows mabye the number will rise up since there more parties happening down here Thursdays through Sunday
Also the only who can make DC/VA section is the Swamper the TA CEO so its best to pm him about it.

As for the Mod situation I think it would be a good idea to make some nominations and start a poll to take votes. That is if Swamper is ok with the idea of adding another mod.

Well there are certain requirements to being a mod.

Must be an active member.
Must be registered for a certain period of time.
Must use proper judgement blah blah blah

I am sure its posted somewhere on here. Besides that you just get some extra options and buttons that other people dont see to merge, delete etc.

No he doesn't have to post, but how about being an active member and checking in once in a while. I mod for another forum and I check the sections I am responsible for at least once per day. If I didn't what good would it do for me being a mod to begin with?

As for Wai...I would love to vote for her but last I checked you needed to have been registered pre 2002. Not sure if that rule still stands.
