Leavin' for NYC !!!

I'm leaving for NYC to go to grad school for 18 months...and see as many shows as possible. Anyone wanna give me the lowdown on the scene up there??

Pacha is the WORST club on the face of this earth.

I just moved up here from miami almost a year ago.

Dec 29th is Rosnki Speed & Kyau and Albert @ Webster Hall. Make it out there!!!

Then Jan 19th 17th.. something-teen is Jon O Bir @ Love. The scene is okay but the crowd never fails to suck at trance parties!!

oo yeah and i think deadmau5 is playing in feb @pacha.

Cielo = Best club in Ny. Bestsound system, awesome crowd, awesome vibe!! I just went last week for Liebing & Voorn and had one of the best times of my life!!

Thanks, yeah it's funny how the reviews are mixed from what I've heard...pissed I can't make RS & K&A. I was already thinking about going to Jon O Bir...lol we'll have to see about the crowd. Webster Hall and Cielo seem like they've been attracting some good DJs lately.

it was great. I seriously fell in love with Liebings style.

Twas so siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick! I was so mad it was on a Thursday but Thursdays were apparently the big techno nights. [ that was their last party ]

yep. i've also fallen for that techy minimal sound. Definitely hitting up Mauro in January. I find myself jamming to Liebing and Picotto sets much more frequently.

Justin, you will be greatly missed in central FL. I wish you the best on your journey up north. NYC has one of the finest scenes in the US if not the world, you will have no problems finding parties. I'll see you this summer. Enjoy!
