What do you remember most...
...from when you were twelve years old?
Nothing. I can barely remember last year.

Staying up real late for watching Mika Hakkinen win the F1 title at Suzuka, that was SO awesome.
The arrival of cable TV to our area! lol. With it, MTV came as well. My first favourite song was Cher - Believe.
Teenager life started exactly at that point.
A big crush on some chick I never ended up knowing well because I was too shy.
I've recently seen the bitch working on two different shopping malls, things don't seem to be going well for her, lol. Does recognising her after so many years qualify as stalker-ish behaviour?
Being the usual nerdy kid at school.. however our class was full of ghetto dudes, and as such I had an habit of swearing A LOT. I must've been an annoying 12 years old.
Being a roller hockey goalkeeper, sweating the shit out of me inside those mammoth-size protections.
This was also the first year I had internet at home, I think. Or did that come at the Christmas of 1998? I'm not entirely sure.
Travelling with my family to the mainland for the Expo '98. Unfortunately, while we were there my cousin passed away. She was 1 or 2 years older than me, and affected by diseases big time since she was very young. I can't believe so many things about 1998 came to my mind earlier than this... I was thinking of her just earlier today.
FC Porto winning the championship yet again. We were bloody unstoppable in the 90s. Jardel-Drulovic-Zahovic: epic win.
And France 1998! Such a brilliant world cup. I remember so many little details of it that I could write way too much about it...
Ok, that's enough.
My Air Jordans!

I first played the trombone, then the tuba and then I moved on to the tenor saxophone in the following year. I had a crush in this blond girl, and I was already addicted to electronic music |
Let's see. That would have been around '88. Sixth grade. I traded a Magic Johnson all star card and $15 for a Buck brand lock blade pocket knife. I kept that knife until my first year of college when it fell out of my khakis into a friend's Mustang. I lose more knives due to khakis and their generous pockets.
The only memorable thing I can think of for that year was playing in my Middle School's first ever street hockey team. I never managed to score any goals though, just give assists. It was probably the biggest highlight for me through a series of unsuccessful attempts at being good at academic sports.

I remember being really horny and masturbating a lot. I also remember that as the year I went from being a keener in school to a total underachiever.
So the lesson here is: masturbation is inversely proportional to success.
