Your expectations for 2008?

Involver 2 , a Minilogue album, a new Way Out West album "is coming out sometime next year" according to Nick...
And a lot of new tracks, both dancefloor-worth & soul melodic!

Hopefully the death of this electro nonsense.

It's gotten to the point where I have to ask "which one?".

I'm expecting more vocal "trance".

I'm looking forward to the 00db album.

No expectations in particular here. Dj's and producers, feel free to surprise me.

Posted by ibz on Dec-26-2007 15:11:

I'm hoping for some really great stuff by Aly & Fila! They had some really great remixes and tracks in 07, they are my favorite producers at the moment. Really want to see more of them

Muse's new album, which is going to be more electronically focussed, seeing Dave Grohl rock wembley stadium and some more good stuff from suntrip, digital structures, propulsion, j00f, subtraxx etc

Taking bets now on whether or not it will ever even be released and if it is, whether or not it will be absolutely awful.

I am, however, looking forward to that Minilogue album.

Ich want's ein Piemont album.

Posted by [mart] on Dec-26-2007 15:49:

Surely it's about time for a new Ryksopp album?

Oh, and Fluke had best get back together. Or ELSE.

Posted by montana on Dec-26-2007 15:53:

a ryksopp album would be nice, hopefully without all that bland.

Posted by callme:gsmile: on Dec-26-2007 15:57:

all i want is for every dj in the top 10 to retire...i mean it.

edit: fuck it all 100

To be honest, the mighty 'Alpha Male' more than made up for any bland (not that there was any, in my opinion).

Couldn't agree more

and with it, I hope it will also be the end of all vocal pop trance

Posted by TheKidsWantTechno on Dec-26-2007 16:47:

continued boom in tech-house, and hopefully even more resurgence of techno (back away from the minimal BS)

At the risk of stating the obvious to you, they're still together as 2 Bit Pie, and sound as good as ever in my opinion.

No Mike Tournier in 2 Bit Pie.

True, but he wasn't in Fluke from 1998 onwards either.

They were still Fluke for six years after he left, and so were still together.

I wish Goa Trance will rise again.
I can't see why this genre 'died out'. It had everything, energy, mystisism, melodies and the rave spirit!

I wish the very best to my friends in stockholm on bringing this music genre back in the light

I agree

start your day the royksopp way!

morning: triumphant
afternoon: only this moment
night: royksopp's night out
sleep: dead to the world
