Dunkin Donuts flatbread Sandwiches

holy shit these are amazing

anyone try one yet?

Posted by Keryn on Dec-26-2007 21:25:

oh god, at least we won't be going all the way to 7/11 for jolts now!

Posted by kingchinc on Dec-26-2007 21:37:

all i know is that their donuts and bagels and breakfast sandwiches suck, but they have hashbrowns so there is still hope for this chain yet

Posted by Keryn on Dec-26-2007 21:48:

I have to admit they're pretty great, esp the ham & swiss!

Posted by Trancealot on Dec-26-2007 22:02:

they serve pizza also. Starbucks has their sandwiches and treats and I am sure Dunkin's keeping an eye out. Coffee and donuts are not good enough anymore.

one of my good friends is addicted to those. He eats one like everyday.. lol

I don't wanna start a fast food war but anyone who don't like "sausage and egg McMuffins" should be shot..

jesus
dunkin donuts is really going too far these days

maybe if they just learned how to make decent donuts they wouldn't have to stretch out and try to cover every other corner of the market

very recently, I think at the beginning of December maybe. It maynot be a nationwide thing.

one thing that pisses me off about Dunkin Donuts is how some locations charge a lot more than others. A flatbread sandwich outside the Holland Tunnel in NJ is 2.99...the same one is 3.99 by my house.

I worked at Dunkin Donuts for 3 years when I was a kid(14-17). I wish they had these things when I worked there cuz I used to just eat shit for free... And whoever said they don't have good donuts is insane. D&D is getting pretty pricey though. I remember when I first started working there in 97, a small coffee was a buck even. When I left it was up to a 1.40 or something. Ouchies

I think theres one on East 23rd Street near Baruch.

I haven't seen any commercials for the DD Flatbread Sandwiches yet either.

**off-topic, one place that surprisingly made GOOD breakfast sandwiches is Subway by the 61st Woodside Station on the 7 line in Queens. One day before work I went in for one of their Omelette Breakfast Sandwiches, they asked me what I wanted in it and proceeded to make it in a small frying pan right in front of me. They used lowfat cooking spray also. im NOT sure all Subways does this though.

I was considering buying this one. I am in the merket for a new toaster anyway, but lemme ask.... Is the egg thing a pain in the ass to clean?

Not at all. I throw all the pieces in the dishwasher. I just wipe down the rest with a sponge.

It's awesome for making hard boiled eggs as well as egg mcmuffin sammiches. yum.

Unfortunately, good bacon is a LOT more difficult to come by so I find myself ordering sausage at a lot more places.
