Ice Skating in NYC
I need your recommendations
Just for fun and acting like retards ice skating, that is...
"The Pond" on 42nd street @ Bryant Park. It's free (just skate rental) and, obviously, free is good, compared to ridic high prices @ Rockefeller Center, for a smaller skating space... It's at 42nd street & 6th avenue?

just keep in mind that normally around the holidays the Central Park Skating Ring might have like a 2 hour line and then the skate renting kid might drop a funny that they out of skates in your size and you got to wait longer.
(which used to be my favorite joke when i worked there as a kid to play on poor tourist after they stood in line for two hours)
i used to go to a place called sky rink - maybe its part of chelsea piers organization - i think this might be it - dont know - the one i went to loong time ago was i believe actually way up near the top of some building on the west side somewhere.
