hello all!!

just arrived in Melbourne and am lookin on this section of the forum for the first time.. looks like there is plenty of juicey trance fun to be had but can anyone give me any recommendations??

I'm stayin in Melbourne for a few weeks, and popping up to Sydney for a few days after the new year.

Any advice would be appreciated... and if anyone needs advice about clubbing in London I can return the favour as I know it extensively

btw its fuckin hot here compared to London! I think the cause of it is that big bright thing in the sky...... I love it!!

there is just too much on - my best advice is to pick up the free street press mags like BEAT or IMPRESS to see whats on.

Have u decided what you are doing new years day? My advice is Apollo @ central pier docklands some good acts there tats for sure

yeah apollo looks amazing, i wish i could go but my friends who are putting me up here have already bought me a ticket for The Hot BBQ so I'll be going to that.

I've read that the afterparty to that should be pretty bangin so I'll try to head to that... but after dancing in the 41 degree sun all day I may just be totally dead and need to lie down a lot... !!

Thanks for the advice about those mags, i'll have a look for them, do you get them from news agents (i.e. like you do with Time Out in london) or from bars and clubs (like with One Week To Live and DontPanic!)?

they are normally lying in just inside the doorways of clothes shops/cafes/restaurants/pubs etc. also sometimes u just see piles of them lying around the street
