Make me a sandwich

Things that may bode well but are by no means essential/required:

Meat combinations

Things my sandwich is not allowed to contain under any circumstances:

Cheese
Mayonnaise
Salad Cream
Bologna / Baloney / Boloney (I am not American.)

Apart from that, anything goes. Now go forth and give me ideas gimps - the big dog is fucking famished!

Less of the questioning of the parameters and more gourmet recipes god dammit!

There's more than one way to spell Bologna? Hmm. Learn something new everyday. I was always corrected when I was younger about spelling it the way you do.

I dunno. I always find that the best thing to do when an American tells you how to spell something is to be very very sceptical.

boloney (b-ln)
n.
1. Variant of bologna.
2. Variant of baloney2.

How the fuck do you eat a sandwich without cheese? Preposterous.

Posted by MrJiveBoJingles on Dec-29-2007 03:09:

Lunch meat and pesto on focaccia bread.

It's quite a simple process really. I just don't put it in to begin with.

Come on, you guys are rubbish! In TV programs - American TV programs in particular - I always see scenes where actors are stuffing massive loaves of bread full of mouth watering meaty shiteness! You guys are supposed to be the kings of this kinda thing!

It's just a generic term for sliced meat, usually something like ham.

Posted by DJ Mikey Mike on Dec-29-2007 03:14:

This will be no generic sandwich son. I like the sound of that bread though.

I was astonished at first too, and now I understand how puzzled people get when I tell them I don't eat (any sort of) meat

That's why I offered him lettuce, tomato and bacon... no cheese, simple, and should be still a classic

Alright, I'll have a go at it.

2 Pieces of White/Wheat/Rye bread (whatever the fuck you prefer there).
2 Slices of Boloney ()
2 Slices of Ham
2 Slices of Turkey or Chicken (Fuck it, why not both?)
Throw in some slices of Pepperoni (enough to fill the entire sandwich layer)
Bacon if you've got any. Beggin' Strips will suffice (Mikey Mike don't know it's not Bacon).
Lettuce
Tomato
Pickles
Salt & Pepper

I don't care if you don't like cheese, just put it on there.
Swiss, Monterey Jack, Colby, Chedder. Choose one or have 'em all.
Get out the mustard & the mayonaisse (or if you happen to have Durkey's then use that).

Sandwich should now be about 5-7" tall dependant on amount of lettuce used.

EAT! ENJOY!

easy sandwhich which is good

1 artisan bread (of focacia)

cover both sides of the inside with pesto then add some tomatoe and prosciutto.

You've managed to include 3 out of the 4 ingredients that I specifically asked not to be included "under any circumstances". Are you really this dense?
