lol, no

Even though Producers have lots of aliases you will find that lots of them are old projects and they dont release under those names any more (or very often)

d00de in this thread they got it all listed....look in the end of the thread for the allias document,,,im sure you find all his alliases

Posted by GrimReaper on May-02-2002 21:19:

The aliases list can be found on my sig.. it's a zipped .doc file, about 41 pages of electronica aliases. (Thanx to Nicke for maintaining it at his homepage) Hehe.. i just looked the info about Ferry and i noticed there was still missing a few aliases and i have mistyped one of his aliases as Dance Factory, even if it should be Dance Therapy.. these will be corrected at version 6/2002. Oh well, i'm only a one guy so errors can happen once in a while.

If someone's got a 2HD vinyl, which credits it to Ferry, I'll take this back, though.

You are right, 2HD is not Ferry Corsten, it's two other guys. I don't remember their names atm though.

The reason for so many alias's is that usually record companies only want an artist putting out so much work at a time. If he releases under different names, it broadens his appeal.

haha yeah....

Posted by Serp on May-04-2002 04:04:

interesting that, i bet if you really looked into it, you would seriously bring the list of truly great trance producers down to around 20 or so, in the world.

yeah peoples lists would differ, but im not meaning it that way, you would compile it by how much credit an artist has recieved within the scene.

Posted by Jah on May-04-2002 04:26:

yeah i really go tthinking about that too i think it would really come down to like push, l.vee, corsten... so many alias' between them

the credits on my cd say it's by J bouthier/S grainger and P Woods. But yes it is only mixed by ferry

You're right dj_cuba! I wasn't 100% sure, but after ur post i checked the info from Ferry Corsten's discography and yes, there was only Jerry Bouthier, Simon Grainger and P. Woods behind the project.. Good, now i can correct my aliases list.
