balErik began djing late 2001, realising the music he liked listening to online was not being played out, that maybe there was a gap he could plug. Things were pretty healthy back then but since, the scene has deflated, like an old birthday balloon. �It�s all about the love for it�, sais Erik, �its not about the money, for sure. It�s hard work. Sometimes you wonder if it�s really worth it.� Everyone has that moment in this business, hits that nadir and then � just at the lowest ebb � you�ll hear that certain record� and all of a sudden: it�s worth it all over again. balErik is one of the rebels on the Scandinavian outskirts of the European continent; fighting the fight against evil and chaos.
