Shadow Lounge Reunion III/New Year's Eve Blast @ Dream review + pics
So goddamn hungover from what was a great party.
Seasunz opened up the night with some slower stuff but it was good to get the night going. He played a few '80s remixes which I really really liked including a mix of Rockwell - Somebody's Watching Me. On point mixing. Great job man, but I didn't even recognize you!
From what I remember I think some other guy came on after Seasunz. I think he did a good job but I was already starting to get wrecked.
After him came Edgar V. Great job, man. And great seeing you again. Edgar was the DJ playing when midnight hit. Champagne for everyone! Even though it was some cheap shit (and I'm willing to bet the primary catalyst in me puking my brains out.
)
After Edgar came George Acosta. Throwing in a few classics in addition to new stuff, he did a great job, having the crowd going nuts. Trance on south beach, in the building where it all began.
And last, but certainly not least, came my bro Eddie G. Mixed it up with a bit of tribal and progressive trance and trance. I heard at least one trainwreck, but it was prolly due to the champagne. hehe just kidding, bro.
The club wasn't too packed but it wasn't empty either. Very very nice place with a good sound system and nice lights. The staff were very friendly which was a welcome change.
There was also this one chick who was sa-MOKIN' ass hot. I wish I had a hidden blade a la Assassin's Creed to take him out and take his girl away but anyway...
I took some pics with my cam but not many. The majority of pics are in Eddie's cam. Will post those later.
The night came to an end at 5:45. Good times.
Happy New Year.
Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go vomit again. Hangovers suck.

P.S. If you have a problem with how I take pics (and you know who you are,) either buy me a new camera or just go fuck yourself and keep your filthy trap shut. Have a nice day!
i can tell by all the swerving lights and stuff.. that the place looks real nice!
Glad you had fun and thanks for the texts!!! If I was there I would have def hit this party up!
edit- and when u told me u were drunk.. i didn't know u were puking drunk!! WICKED NEW YEARS BRO!!
Looks empty from those pics which really kills the atmosphere before a tune is even dropped for me. Maybe if they hadn't put a ridiculous entry fee on the door it would've been a better turn out, I know I'd have considered going had it been $25/30 but $110?
Shadow Lounge was my favorite place in Miami when I went there for spring break back in 1999. Cool that they had this in the original building but damn, $110 is a ludicrous entry fee even for NYE.

assasins creed owns.
A lot of these clubs inflated their prices hoping to make ridiculous profit. I walked by Dream around 12:45 and they offered to let us in for $60, then $45 a piece. I'm not into trance so much anymore so I passed it up.
Cameo also offered $75 to let us in. At the end of the night I got into the Fifth for Victor Calderone for free, which was $75 originally.

| Originally posted by Charlie Brown Yeah, I heard most places had a bad turn out and no wonder with prices like $110, or $300?? Hopefully they'll learn for next year but I doubt it. |

$110??? Blue had free entry and Victor Dinaire was great. I really couldn't have found a cooler place to spend NYE. With a grand total of a $45 for my bar tab (for 2 people), it was pretty badass...
Does anyone Know how the sound was that night and the venue overall?
Please someone evaluate if possible thank you
