Found this set from The wizard aka Jeff Mills(one of the Detroit techno- pioneers) from 1985. Listen and enjoy. If someboy could id any track played i would be suprised

Yeah, this is awesome, sound quality is bollocks though!

Mixing style is quite funny, I assume because of the short intro sections most tracks had around that era.

Excellent job on the IDs, any chance of putting them in an actual numbered list?

The Beverly Hills Cop theme is by Tom Harding.

That's also the order I heard them in. It's not from the start of the mix to the end though. Matter of fact all of those tracks are in the first seven minutes.

It will become an even better database than now, just without downloads.

no more downloads
concentration on tracklistings
much more details about Artists, Clubs, Events, Radio Stations, Radio Shows, etc.
more coding on the software for more features

We will continue adding new sets etc.
We will continue to care about correctness cos most do not.
The only difference: You have to find new ways of getting the files

Change process
We're sorry that we had to close the site temporarily without any warning! But it's the only way.
So the site is closed for now and behind closed doors we will start to do the change.
Absolutely no idea yet how to do it and how long it will take or when we'll be back.
Maybe 2 weeks or more. At least nothing will happen till next week. We'll keep you updated here.

We can imagine your frustration about that, but this is the only safe solution after 1 year of extreme sharing the music we all love.
For the leechers of you the downloads may have been the only reason to visit us but the core of the database are
the hard facts which we have put so much work at and there is only more to come and to be done.
So the real shame would be to be forced to close the site just because of the downloads you can get elsewhere aswell.
Better to be 100% legal than going off one day. So all the hard work will be worth it in the future.
So thanks to all contributors before and later, respect to all the people sharing in the web, via ftp, torrents and slsk.
We all need you in the future

We're very positive about the relaxed future and after starting the database this may be the second best decision we ever made.
We hope you can understand our decision and will support our goals in the future.

Some may laugh, some may be sad. We love you all!
