what do you eat (traditionally) for new years?


here in central PA we all about that pork & saurkraut but i know down in LA some people spoon that bananas foster heavy in their pie holes... (or so i've heard)

Fried buns with raisins (usually topped with powdersugar)

They are fabricated and consumed only the days before and after New Year in The Netherlands..

hmm I don't think there is anything in particular for Polish New Year's eve. However, the buns that ScuL posted are eaten on "Fat Thursday" in Poland and Germany(It's the Thursday before Lent - *Easter)
