Do you buy music or just download it?
Both
Either/or
i make my own
both.
A friend was surprised once when I told them that I was going to look for CDs.
Used to do both, but now I just listen to the radio... internet radio, that is.
I mostly listen to live sets. And then I download some stuff off beatport.
I'm in the progress of switching from vinyl to CD so atm i'm buying all new stuff on sites like beatport, TID, juno, etc.

Buy, either as mp3s or as CDs. Rock I tend to buy as albums, while other, more rare and abstract stuff, I get as lone mp3s on download sites like beatport.
I buy 95% of what I play when DJing, and I'd say about 80% of the other music I listen to. If I like it, and I can find a place to buy it, I usually try and do so to support the artists in some way.
i buy all my music
its better that way for everyone
i admit i download alot of mp3's but i also buy alot of cds as well. so i guess that kind of even it outs.

I buy everything except a few of the livesets that I've found on this forum.
That being said, I think one of the sites that I've purchased music from is not exactly legal.
whats up with the music threads in the c0r?
lol
as of the past few years, i've been buying about 95% of it.

I make it, buy it, and download it.
ZING!
Although I download a number of live sets, but I've been clean from illegal downloads for about four years now.
My friend has an interesting way of balancing out his movie downloads with actually paying for them. He doesn't feel like going to the movies, so he downloads them, calls MoviePhone, and buys a ticket for the movie he downloaded. As far as he's concerned, its the same thing.
Always thought that was somewhat amusing.
duh.

Yeah, I know. I think it provides some psychological comfort to the whole act, and though it's certainly an improvement over not making any compensatory attempt, it's still illegal.
I shit music out in tiny little pebbles.

i buy a copy on vinyl of every song i download (and listen to), which i mainly get from live sets. the only mp3s i dont have a vinyl for are ones that i haven't been able to locate yet.
i buy/rent every single movie/tv series i want to watch.
i buy every game i want to play for more than half an hour or so.
i am obsessed with popular culture, but find very little of it to like. too many interests of mine have disappeared due to lack of popularity/profit, so i feel it an obligation to pay for things that bring me enjoyment.
its voting for art you wish to see emulated/replicated for your future benefit. people (in the first world) that dont pay for anything are just ignorant fools.
