space on february 2nd

hi there,
i'm going to be in florida for a night - february 2nd. I've set my eyes on going to Space but there doesn't seem to be any event listings for Space in January or February.
assuming that it is still open, does Space have a guest dj every saturday? and how much does it cost to get in? and what time does the place open and close?

any info would be great.

Even with the locals... Great times are expected.

I am also waiting for the new party listings because I will be in town the following weekend.

Space is always open [every weekend].

If you get there early you must be prepared to stay late. Afterhours is a ton of fun & out in the sun!!
Afterhours starts @ 5am till ???. Depending on the dj.

open every saturday. party starts at 10/11 pm and doesn't stop til almost 4 pm on sunday.

and how about Mansion?
since this is my first time would it be a wise choice to split my night between Mansion and Space (assuming its driveable distance between the both of them)
or just stick with Space?
(i'd like to make the best of what little time i have there, so I want to be prepared for what's in store, as soon as I get off the plane)

Don't waste your time at Mansion, Space all the way... no comparison.

lol space sucks....sound system is horrible. The club looks bigger than it is. Best part about it is the terrace..Other than that its ehhhhhhh.

i am really mad/sad. nothing is going to be going on my bday weekend and I wanted to take my boyfriend to his first afterhoursssssss x10000000000000000000

as much as trance is my fav music and markus schulz is fuckin sick....markus at mansion doesnt even compare to morillo at space! his set last year at WMC was fuckin unbelieveable and he kills it every time hes at space and pretty much anywhere for that matter....space all the way

Last February was the most kick ass I had ever seen the Terrace.

Really really mad they chose to do Morillo a week earlier.

so how would that work exactly? i've decided to check out both. what time would markus (or guest dj's in general) spin at Mansion and what time would Morillo spin at Space?
does Morillo only spin on this 'terrace' or does he start in one of the rooms first? how long are his sets usually?

if i got a wrist band, can i go in, then leave, take a nap at the hotel, and then go back in (perhaps in the morning) with the same wrist band without having to pay another entry fee? and will this wrist band be all access?
and of course i don't want to be caught waiting in line for hours just to get into Space; i'm guessing 'wanttickets.com' will have them up for sale in advance?

But here's the bullet points answer:

* Mansion closes @ 5 a.m.
* Markus' set would probably start around 1
* Space terrace does not start until 4 a.m.
* Morillo will play the terrace, probably start @ about 6 a.m.
* Morillo will play an extended set
* Both can easily be done
* Forget about re-entry @ Space
* Naps are for wimps

Anyways... If I were you... Markus is awesome and all but Morillo on the Terrance [and not during WMC] is a HUUUUGE event. Prob the best you will ever see the Terrace!

Last year he went on at 3 am and got off at 5 pm the next day!! Space will be super duper uber PACKED. If you really wanna see Markus.. Go to mansion and if you CAN sleep a few hours but go to the patio round 8 or 9 am.

Or ..... you can sleep wake up at 6 am.. and go waste some energy at SPACE!

space sucks. they treat their patrons like shit, if your willing to give hard earned cash to people that treat like you shit then be my guest. twilo was such a better club with a sound system that pissed on space...it's a shame they chose the wrong buisness model

That is completely false. They are known for the best indoor and outdoor venue, with a system never duplicated, made and enginered for them only. Twilo Phazon was a reclyed system, it wasnt bad, but would shut off if put one glitched over its capacity, and is still in market for sale. I wonder why???

I just think you had a very bad night night @ space.
