Newcomer recommendations

Hello,

The next genre I'd like to explore is trance, and that's why I'm here I often go to trance parties and trance nights, but never really listened to anything at home. When one explores a new genre you are often overwhelmed by the amount of artists! I enjoy my fast drum & bass and breaks so I'm looking for heavyish trance. So far I'm listening to Astral Projection, Electric Universe, Man With No Name, Psysex, Astrix, and Talamasca.

So, is there anything else I should be listening to?

You might like Jaia.

You already listen to some nice stuff such as Astral Projection and Man With No Name. Good choice.
You might want to check out some of the following:

Blue Planet Corporation
Nicholas Bennison
The Digital Blonde
Deepsky (prior to year 2002 since they quit doing trance after that)
Whirloop
The Muses Rapt
Chi-A.D.
Human Blue
Philippe van Mullem
Koxbox
12 Moons

all excellent producers.

Not really my style. I'm look for something a bit harder and darker, but it's still pretty good.

@Rebel9: I'm going to listen to all of that now. Will let you know

Some of those articles are pretty small and hard to find. But out of the bunch I liked Nicholas Bennison the most. You live in Gothenburg. You should be listening to some Swedish death metal

If you want dark:
The Delta, Authentik, X-Dream, Metalogic, Midi Miliz, Cosma, Spirallianz, Mittelstandskinder Ohne Strom, Fuzzion...

LOL. I no big fan of metal. But I actually quite like the Gothenburg pop sound. It's very famous in Sweden atm with good artists such as Maia Hirasawa, Jens Lekman, Jos Gonsalez and Timo Risnen.

Jose Gonsalez came to South Africa sometime in 2007 but I never got to see him.

I'd suggest this - http://www.discogs.com/release/614218

and the 2nd edition has some good stuff, but it's more techno tbh. Still Excellent.
