Website Designers I need a website..

Wasnt sure where to start looking for a good designer to do some freelance work and make me a good dj/producer profile website for myself, so thought I'de start where I hang out most of the time.

Can anyone fire me some prices (just for the site,i'll host (but good host suggestions are welcome) and some examples of your work.

I can make basic websites but I'm after someone who can make a really nice sleek design that will stand out made in html and possibly abit of flash.

Cheers.

there's no such thing as a really sleek HTML site. At least learn PHP. It's easy enough if you understand basic HTML. Or better yet, take a website you like, download the source, and base it upon that as a template and make the minor adjustments as you see fit. I do not suggest stealing their website/images etc, but using their basic design as a template to start from... well, I think that's a good starting/learning point.

Unless you want your website really complex, there's no reason to pay someone else...

Still nothing found, except a hotlink to that shitty service which doesn't allow it and is often found on google images.

This is true. I still want to learn PHP to this day but still haven't had the time. I've made lots of "smooth" sites with HTML, CSS, and JS but if you want actual functionality and dynamic content, with reasons for visitors to come back, learn PHP for sure.
