Who wins the election?

Obama or Hillary? I honestly do not know. Obama's speech in New Hampshire was pretty good.

Posted by lcid on Jan-05-2008 19:12:

i totally had a weird premonition the other morning while driving to work that Obama will be our next president.

snackily diddly doo!

Who?

I'm very excited for this election. You have alot of frustrated non-voters who are going to vote, and alot of youths who are not being accounted for in the polls. People are starting to give two shits about politics. This election I think will be very much so up in the air.

Obama... I honestly think there's alot of very racist back-country white america that won't stand to have a black man as president, or a woman. Personally, I think Obama is a great and VERY progressive candidate. He's saying alot of things that the politicians in the last election were too afraid to say for fear of ostracizing themselves from their political platform and conservative voters.

Giuliani only ranked #6 at the caucuses... I think alot of voters, ESPECIALLY new yorkers, will vote for him because they have seen him able to enact positive change. I would be VERY surprised to see hillary take new york over Rudy, which is funny because she won't even carry her own state!

So who knows!

I want Ron Paul to win but sadly, he won't.

I have a hillary Clinton Voodoo doll... It's interesting to see the different sites on the net's takes on the election. Some say Mitt Romney (stormin mormon) is going to pull this one off, others say hillary has no chance in hell (WOOHOOOOO!), lots of people like the late fight that mike huckabee is bringing, obama who?

As long as I get to have my handguns and assault rifles in my house I'm happy. You can't be too prepared for the zombie attacks.

The irony is that I don't think Guliani would win in new york either. he's changed views on some key issues since leaving office there, and its those views that got him there in the first place (as well as those views that alienated him from the republican party).

Yep if he wins theres no alcohol sales on Sunday nationwide & all americans are required to attend church the same day. Then hes gonna move the capital to Salt Lake City & pardon Warren Jeffs to make him his chief advisor.

I think the way things are going, president Putin will be in the whitehouse come 2009. In soviet america president elects you!!!!

Posted by jupiterone on Jan-05-2008 19:48:

One of the reason I despise Mitt Romney:

Posted by emc^2 on Jan-05-2008 19:54:

I honestly don't care who wins, to be perfectly honest. There are simply NO good candidates in this election. There is really no one decent to vote for. I'd say maaaaybe... a big maybe, McCain could possibly stand above the crowd but his window of opportunity came and went. I don't think he has a snowball's chance.

so, given our lot of idiots running for the post, it doesn't matter anyway. who cares who's in the white house, fucking this country up? they all suck.

Romney is such a fucking c*nt.

Its depressing to to think of how many people believe he'd be a good president and would vote for him, small as the number may be...

I really hope that more Americans vote come November.

I read an interesting article about Karl Rove (Bush's former political strategist) basically torpedoing Hillary's campaign by declaring her the next President.

My top three (in no particular order) are Ron Paul, Kucinich, and Obama. I do NOT want under any circumstance Romney, Hillary, Guiliani, Huckabee, or Romney as President. I fear for the future if that happens.

Also, with all the discrepancies in voting, I'm curious as to how everything will turn out.

does any1 in here honestly believe whoever wins will end up making a difference?

Posted by Halcyon+On+On on Jan-06-2008 04:02:

Yes they do, but mere beliefs and the reality of things are sometimes vastly different.

Posted by AnomalyConcept on Jan-06-2008 04:09:

A lot of the candidates have campaigned strongly on issues such as Iraq and immigration. I think whomever is elected will make a difference, but whether the difference is 'good' or 'bad' depends on the candidate.

Posted by Dj O'Callaghan on Jan-06-2008 04:33:

Obama, because I think it'll be a progressive move for the US and a major historic event, but most of I all want to see all the racist hicks get pissed off.

Depending on who wins, they could also make absolutely no difference and leave us stuck on the same road we're on.
