Salt Tank - Eugina (Tiestos Remix)

What do you guys think of this?

Posted by Yuris on Jan-05-2008 22:03:

wow, its a Windows Media player visualization.

Posted by Konijn on Jan-05-2008 22:04:

/tiesto spins (spun) the michael woods mix.

Posted by Lunar Phase 7 on Jan-05-2008 22:16:

Total bomb. As is the ambient mix.

Posted by RebeL9 on Jan-05-2008 22:29:

Tiestos remix is crap compared to Progressive Summer mix and Michael Woods remix. In fact it was so crap that he only played Michael Woods remix.

Posted by miamitranceman on Jan-05-2008 22:31:

Michael Woods remix is definitely the best.

Whatever happened to that guy btw?

I like Salt Tank's Reactivation Mix

Pacific Diva (Version), first appeared on ST 3 in 1994 (just listen to that psy-ish part that starts on 3:40). Definitely the best version and probably my favourite trance track ever:

I like it and personally I think it's better than the Michael Woods remix.

Right i'm going to get flamed for this by tiesto fanboys, but is it just me or do his productions sound cheap and amateur, I swear I don't know what people see in him.

They do nowadays, yeah. I don't really know what happened, I guess he just stopped bothering with the productions...

Salt Tank - Eugina is definitely somewhere in my top 20 trance songs. I somehow never heard Tiesto's remix, but I wasnt as impressed with it as compared to the other mixes out there.

Definitely the best version I've heard (The reactivation mix is also good because it's like a higher energy version of the pacific diva), followed by the Michael Woods Remix. Top tune!....timeless.

Not much love for the progressive summer mix then?

Also this thread made me dig out the Hybrid mix of Dimension, timeless stuff.

I'm not sure I've heard it unless it's the same as the reactivation mix.

It might well be, someone else mentioned Reactivation was on another world, but according to discogs it was the prog summer mix, might have been called reactivation mix on the single release

Posted by SYSTEM-J on Jan-06-2008 23:50:

Which version did Oakey play in the Goa Mix?

Posted by keithos27 on Jan-07-2008 00:02:

salt tank's reactivation mix/progressive summer mix ftw....

progressive summer mix was never released... only on that oakey comp. it was released as the reactivation mix with some minor differences... pretty similar for the most part.

tiesto remix never really took off... as others mentioned tijs never even really spun it that much.
