w00t, I am stoked already.

I'm not a big ferrari fan, but i think it look beautiful, always been a fan of the Toyota wing, glad they used it

Mclaren on the other hand came back to the elephant trumpet holding shovel, looks lame

Who?

He was the best guy available, considering that Williams were asking too much for Rosberg. Kova was a free agent and he's a bloody quick driver too...

No schumi comeback ... yet

Posted by Txebe on Jan-08-2008 19:38:

noikeee, you must change the alonso's photo. Luckly, Alonso is not in McLaren with the bastards as Hamilton or Dennis.

Posted by noikeee on Jan-08-2008 20:11:

I love the spanish anti-McLaren paranoia.

Seriously, most of those photos are last years, I'm changing them as every team launch their cars - along with photos of their drivers in their new colors. So Alonso is gonna have to be in a McLaren suit until the 31th, I'm afraid.

New Toyota:

Fisichella now confirmed at Force India.

Posted by pmoisse on Jan-13-2008 11:21:

I'm excited for this year without traction & launch control. Drivers even have to use more control over the clutch at pit stops and on the grid, and I think they also have on-board starters in case they spin & stall the thing.

It should upset the rankings a bit at first.

LOL @ Force India-Ferrari not having an Indian driver. So much for home grown talent.

Anyways, can't wait for the season to start

Posted by The_G0dfather on Jan-14-2008 19:05:

word

although any season without schumi sucks tbh

Robert already checking reliability

Nick losing both real wheel covers at 20kmp/h is not a good sign

Gives the racing more dimension, because the driver has to be concerned about things other than just going fast.

Two things

1) Take a look at those swept back wings

2) If this is a promo pic, what is the torn and slashed sticker doing on the tire ?

its not, they're heat shield type things

the line across the top is a fin, the bottom left is a hole.

The shield helps with extracting hot air from the brakes, more efficient than just having an open wheel. Similar to the ones they have on tha back except those just have a narrow centre hole.

They atarted using them last year. I think they look incredibly stupid done up to look like the wheel.

The aero on the car looks pretty cool.
