how to make a sweep in logic 8

i just got logic 8 pro and i was wondering how you can make a regular white noise sweep in it. and if its possible how to side chain it to the kick. help plzzzz

Here is one way to do it:

Use ES P and turn up the noise osc all the way up. Turn all other oscs down. Then put a Chan EQ on it and automate the high freq cutoff to sweep from a low frequency to a high frequency (curving the automation helps here). You can also automate the ES P cutoff. If you want to sidechain it, throw the Logic Compressor on an insert then set the type to Opto (Opto gives a good range for the pumping effect. Turn the threshold way down (like -30). The chose a silent bass drum track for the sidechain source in the top right hand corner.

Add Reverb and delay to taste (preferably on send buses).
