Hello TXTA!
Hey all! I know you have a thread already for introductions, but I just couldn't bear to wait for someone to respond to me in it, lol. I know we seldom check ours in NYTA. So here's what I posted in there...

I lived there for a while myself, worked at Best Buy in Shreveport, but now I'm back in NY. The next time I'll be down there visiting will be sometime in March, so hopefully there will be something cool in Dallas I could hit up. I figured now would be a good time to introduce myself and get to know you guys, and then maybe see some of you out in March. Nice to meet you.
Nice to meet you too!
So are most of the ppl on here from Texas? I was looking at the party planner thread and all the stuff was mostly in Dallas, Austin, or SA. Do ppl post stuff on here from other areas? I don't really know what the scene is like down there at all. Do they have stuff in New Orleans?

Oh man. So I've gone through NYTA hazing, now I've got to go through TXTA hazing? Hopefully it's not so bad. They're rather harsh on the nOObs there. Thanks for the welcome
Hope to run into you too.
no one is gonna haze you. we welcome new ppl. but we just dont like the guys that post threads on here advertizing cheezy music with 100k cars as parties.

Come on over and visit!
There is something to do nearly every weekend, sometimes more than one. And you have to choose, which sucks. And despite the hazing, NYTA is great. I've met so many awesome ppl through there. I brought my friend from HS, Liz, out to Kyau vs. Albert and Ronski Speed the other weekend. She had never been to a trance party in her life. Afterwards she was like, omg Erica! 'Cause I had introduced her to at least 40 people. Here's a link to my photobucket. I'm still working on updating it, but there are a lot of pics from parties in NY this past year.
Erica's Photobucket
Part of my new years resolution is to upload the photos and organize them in a timely fashion. Cause now I'm trying to go back over the past year and do it... and what a job that is, let me tell you! lol.

yea, its been a while. i was actually scheduled to be there next weekend, but decided not to go last minute. not sure when i am going to have the time to head that way....
i love the city (in small increments). but you are definitely right, there is always something to do and you usually end up having to choose one over another.
