-- Kevin Saunderson - Bassline (Joris Voorn Remix)
Kevin Saunderson - Bassline (Joris Voorn Remix)
Bassline (Joris Voorn Remix)
Again a perfect effort by Mr. Voorn. This tune is such a killer. Enjoy the clip
. Feel the bass, the drums, the melody. Heaven!!!
My goodness - is this available yet?

me likey.
Joris Voorn getting his hands on some Kevin Saunderson. Deadly combination.
Random ass side note, but I have a friend who is a tech DJ from Detroit who absolutely hates Kevin Saunderson because every single DJ who has ever come to Detroit feels obligated to play Inner City/Saunderson tunes. It's hilarious to hear him go off about having to hear "Good Life" even one more time.

Better sample up at joris voorns myspace.
sample sounds ace
Yeah that sounds sick. Especially the um... well... the bassline

I need to have this.
sounds quite large
something s&d would drop peaktime
definitely want my hands on it
The sample is either A.) Too short, or 2.) At a bad point in the track for a sample. It sounds like it could be an absolute stormer, but the sample really doesn't show much.
Mildly amusing review on discogs, I take my hat off to whoever wrote it:
"To me, Joris did exactly what a remix should do - a personal take on a now longtime classic adding his own fine production skills, touch and furthermore creating a "sound of now" reflection that contrary to most productions floating around will be play- and listenable several years from now.
What strikes me as being a fine tuned sense for arrangement, is the way Voorn introduces the original lead theme with ease in the last third of the track making the euphoria complete. Rather than making the usual and oh so boring minimal build, break and then back to boredom with no changes as the beat gets reintroduced, Joris adds something extra which reemerges within the track as pure bliss.
The Samuel L. Session remix is run-off-the-mill fodder, which possibly will appeal to just as lame dj's as this remix and ketamine victims on the dancefloor."

I'm usually a big Voorn fan but on this, considering the samples, I'm learning more towards the Loco Dice remix. Subtle but veeeery nice.
Of course the original is pretty massive (even though tbh, I had never heard of it before this pack of remixes) but might be a bit outdated to fit in a current set.
pretty solid, worth the dl for sure
