Foo Fighters - Everlong (PQM vs. Vance Musgrove Remix)

Has anyone heard this remix before?

If so, what are your thoughts on it?

(link removed)

Do you guys, in general, enjoy mainstream rock remixes?

It reminds me of the angels & airwaves - the adventure (harris b. & xijaro remix).

edit: don't give out full tracks, even for bootlegs like this

I guess it was decent but this track is unremixable in my opinion, the original is fucking perfect.

This original is GREAT and one of my favorite videos of the 90s. The remix is alright, it slows down and stretches out the original. Really kills everything that the original had going for it.

isn't this remix just the accoustic version of everlong with a beat under it?

Yes. It's certainly not so much a remix as it is a DJ friendly version of the acoustic take.

Bjork - Violently Happy (Matthew Adams Bootleg With Foo Fighters and Royksopp) ftw!!

i havent heard it im going to track it down.

i for one enjoy rock remixes(if there good) and actually its weird seeing this thread as my new mix for the month of january is going to be nothing BUT rock remixes,a list i completed over two weeks ago(wierd how it seems like your thinking the same way as someone else ).if this is really good i might have to add this one too!my mix is going to have bands like linkin park, korn, lenny kravitz, metallica, and others.

if i think they're good, then i too don't have a problem w/ them or feel guilty for enjoying them. LOL.

& you're right in saying that this is quite the coincidence! =O definately lemme know when your mix is ready for everyone's listening pleasure! =)

hmm...i've heard a lenny kravitz remix for the past...like...3 months on a.s.o.t.; i hate it. but god damn it...it's starting to grow on me. =P (...& also, the EXACT same thing happened to me w/ that chasing cars remix last year around this time. HAH.)

but yea...like someone else mentioned, it's basically just the original w/ a beat put underneat & a stretched beginning & end. =/ i too think that the original is quite lovely.

link removed

anyway. what are some other remixes of rock songs that you guys like?

Posted by RJT on Jan-10-2008 23:11:

Also - how the hell did it take two guys to do this?

Posted by montana on Jan-10-2008 23:24:

did you not get why i edited your first post.

DON'T POST LINKS TO FULL TRACKS, even for bootlegs like this.

this is not that lenny kravitz song. i know which one your talking about though.its another bootleg of a different song.its reaaal good and ill give the producer a huge shout once the mix is up.ill post a link to it here.im working on it tomorrow.

and you cant put links to full downloads on this site.you can get banned .ol montanna's looked out for you twice now!

the original isn't the best, nor is the acoustic

Hearing it Live, starting out with the acoustic on a small stage & Dave running as the rest of them play the buildup until it goes fully live

will add video of it asap
